Get emergency medical support when you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to Nexium: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Much less serious Nexium side effects may contain:

* headache, drowsiness;
* diarrhea;
* nausea, stomach pain, gas, constipation; or
* dry mouth.
